Moss Wood has two beautiful luxury lodges which are reserved exclusively for wedding couples and their guests. The boutique accommodation is set amongst ancient woodland and exquisite gardens overlooking a lake and endless fields.
With all the comforts of home and amid utterly tranquil surroundings, both lodges have everything you need for your getaway, including self-contained fitted kitchens, should you wish to rustle up a special romantic meal for your loved one and hibernate away in your new wedded bliss for a few more days.
the stables
Perfectly situated a mere stone’s throw away from The Love Shack, The Stables is the ideal spot for the wedding couple to relax and unwind. Follow a winding path through the woods, you’re surrounded by trees, disturbed only by the birdsong…
Included as part of The Love Shack wedding package for two, The Stables is our dedicated ‘wedding lodge’ and is the larger and more private of our two lodges. With doors opening out onto the grounds and overlooking the lake, The Stables offers complete seclusion.
With indoor and outdoor seating areas for up to six people, The Stables can be used as an intimate dining area or place to share a celebratory toast and some nibbles with your guests.
There’s everything you’d expect to find in the lounge including a 42″ plasma TV with Netflix and the main bedroom has a super king-sized bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and vegan-friendly eco2 luxury duvets and pillows. There is an en-suite private bathroom, an open-plan kitchen and dining area, and free wireless broadband connection throughout the property.
A luxury continental wedding breakfast hamper full of yummy goodies will be waiting for you in your lodge on your arrival and we can discuss any dietary preferences or requirements with you in advance to make sure it’s exactly to your taste.
the summerhouse
If you choose to invite a select handful of guests, our second lodge ‘The Summerhouse’ is truly a ‘home from home’, making it the perfect place for your guests to stay.
Situated between the lake and our vegetable garden makes it an absolutely idyllic setting in the secluded Moss Wood gardens. This luxury open plan lodge has a super king-sized bed on the lower level, which can be split into two single beds if required. There is an option to also have two single beds on the mezzanine level so it is perfect for up to four older children, or it very comfortably sleeps two adults and two children or simply just two adults.
Inside The Summerhouse you can expect all the essentials for a perfect getaway including a 42″ plasma TV with Netflix, Egyptian cotton sheets and vegan-friendly eco2 luxury duvets and pillows. There’s free wireless broadband connection throughout the property, and a private bathroom and kitchen.
On arrival at their lodge, your guests will also receive a breakfast hamper full of yummy goodies to enjoy throughout their stay.
